We are excited to announce that World Play League is now part of the Google for Startups Cloud Program. With the Google for Startups Cloud Program, World Play League has been given access to developer-friendly technology, resources and even more Web3-focused benefits that will help us build faster and more easily.
The program includes as $250K credit for 2 years for uses across Google Cloud’s platform, including databases, storage, networking, data analytics, developer tools, API management and mobile app development services.
Along with infrastructure support from Google Cloud, comes a means of deeper entry to Web3 communities and events both online and across the globe. This will also include earlier access to new developments in services and products from Google Cloud and the greater Web3 ecosystem.
According to Google for Startups Cloud’s Web3 program, companies like WPL will be able to ‘focus on innovation over infrastructure as you build your decentralized apps, Web3 tooling, services, and more.’
“For young companies like ours, it really gives us the foundation to be able to innovate and scale more quickly,” said World Play League CEO Peter Tomala. “Moving the Web3 ecosystem forward is a large lift, so having companies like Google Cloud supporting innovation and credible companies is a game changer. We’re really excited for what this means for WPL in the short and long term.”
